Itzbig slashes rates by almost 90 percent

Itzbig Inc. plans to throw the job search world for a loop.

The 11-month-old Austin firm slashed its rates by almost 90 percent two weeks ago with the hope that its matchmaking technology will turn Itzbig into the preferred job-search site for companies.

Itzbig's approach should stop the deluge of resumes that swamp recruiters using job sites and give them only the top qualified and interested candidates, says CEO Jim McGovern.

"We're trying to change the way the world recruits," he says.
