Jim McGovern
Chief Executive Officer
Jim McGovern has extensive experience with internet start up companies. Before joining itzbig, Jim spent six years as CEO of Market Wire, where he helped execute a successful turnaround during a difficult economic time by focusing the news service on its core strengths and becoming the value leader in the newswire industry.
Prior to his work at Market Wire, Jim served briefly as President of Business.com, taking the company from shortly after inception to post launch of the site. Jim also held several positions at Ticketmaster Online-Citysearch – including Chief Technology Officer, EVP of Operations and General Manager – helping grow the company into an Internet leader with over seven million unique users per month.
Jim began his career working in sales and product marketing at IBM, and then in business development at an advertising and public relations firm. He holds a bachelors degree from Stanford University as well as an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
Asad Khan
Chief Technology Officer
Asad Khan founded itzbig with the goal of creating an application that would help both recruiters and job seekers by making the talent search process infinitely simpler.
Asad comes to itzbig with 15 years of experience in enterprise software technology and management at companies such as MCI WorldCom and I2–Analytics, where he managed a 40-person development team that created products to generate over $100 million in annual revenue.
Asad has a master’s degree in computer science from Auburn University and a bachelor of science in computer science and engineering from Osmania University, in India.
Robbie Dodd
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Robbie Dodd uses over 12 years of financial management experience in the high-tech industry to manage all of itzbig's financial and operational activities.
Before joining itzbig, Robbie oversaw the financial and administrative operations of RealVue Simulation Technologies and played a key role in the merger of RealVue and Ignite Technologies. He also spent six years at Hire.com as Controller, where he provided leadership in everything from strategic planning and investing to private equity fund raising and investor relations. Robbie also saw the company through three acquisitions and Hire.com's merger with Authoria.
Before learning about the recruiting world at Hire.com, Robbie received his degree at Southwestern University and was a senior auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Austin.
Roger Jipp
Vice President of Sales
Roger Jipp has 20+ years experience in leading sales teams for a variety of businesses, including high tech, HR recruiting, and systems integrators. Most recently Roger was with technology giants Oracle & Computer Associates, involved in selling portals, change management, security, and CRM software products.
Previously Roger joined TexSYS RD (now ePartners) as VP of Sales helping the organization grow to become the #1 Microsoft Business Solution Partner worldwide. He began his professional career with national staffing firm Diversified Human Resources Group, managing multiple offices and opening locations in Atlanta and Los Angeles.
Lana Moore
VP, Product Management
As product manager for itzbig, Lana Moore is perpetually exploring new ways to do old things, and old ways to do new things. She’s passionate about removing friction from process and making technology as intuitive as possible.
Lana has over 12 years of online application experience and has managed the user and customer experience for companies including MyDocOnline (Aventis Pharmaceuticals), Hire.com, Verizon, and EDS (Navy Marine Corps Intranet).
In her career, Moore has been a vocal proponent for Web standards and Agile User-Centered Design. Her work in the HR technology field has led to industry awards such as HR Magazine’s Product of the Year.
Rizwan Jabbar
Director of Product Development
Rizwan Jabbar leads itzbig's development organization, fueled by his passion about fixing the problems in recruiting today. With over a dozen years of experience guiding development at companies such as Avid Technologies and e-solutions, he directs itzbig's technology solutions by working collaboratively with our company's founders and the development team.
Rizwan works with Asad to create smart algorithms that improve candidate and job matches while decreasing the time it takes to find them. He looks at the whole process very scientifically, thanks to his Computer Science degree from University of Texas at Austin and his Physics, Mathematics and Statistics degree from Karachi University.
